Bank of Baroda LBO Recruitment 2026: Vacancy Details

Bank of Baroda has announced a total of 2,482 vacancies for the Local Bank Officer position across different states.

Educational Qualification

Candidates must have a Graduation Degree in any discipline from a recognized university or institution.

Apart from the degree, candidates must also have proficiency in the local language of the state for which they are applying.

Work Experience

This is an important requirement for this recruitment.

Candidates must have at least 1 year of post-qualification experience as an Officer in a Scheduled Commercial Bank listed in the Second Schedule of the Reserve Bank of India.

Experience in the clerical cadre will not be considered for this requirement.

Candidates should have a valid experience certificate or other required proof from their current or previous employer.

Age Limit

The candidate’s age should be between 21 and 30 years as on 01 August 2026.

Age relaxation will be available to eligible reserved-category candidates as per Government of India rules.

Salary Details: Bank of Baroda LBO Recruitment 2026

Salary is one of the biggest attractions of this recruitment.

Selected candidates will be appointed as Local Bank Officers in JMG/S-I Scale.

The basic pay scale is:

₹48,480 – ₹88,940

Candidates who have at least one year of eligible Officer-level experience in a Scheduled Commercial Bank will also get one advance increment.

Apart from the basic salary, selected candidates will receive applicable allowances and other benefits as per Bank of Baroda rules and prevailing banking-sector settlements.

The actual monthly salary can therefore be higher than the basic pay after adding applicable allowances and benefits.

Selection Process: Bank of Baroda LBO Recruitment 2026

Bank of Baroda will follow a multi-stage selection process for the Local Bank Officer recruitment.

The expected stages are:

2. Local Language Proficiency Test (LPT)

4. Personal Interview
5. Psychometric Test or any other test, if decided by the Bank

Exam Pattern

There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.
