Haryana Cotton Subsidy Scheme 2025 has been started by the government for the production of cotton. Yes, the Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Haryana has invited applications to promote cotton cultivation in the year 2025-26. Under this scheme, farmers will be given a subsidy of ₹ 2000 per acre on sowing of BT cotton. Apart from this, assistance will also be provided on micronutrient spray and IPM spraying.
The government issued a notification in this regard and said that interested farmers can apply online from 01 August 2025 to 30 September 2025. The scheme will be applicable in the following cotton producing districts of Haryana, which we have mentioned below:
Sirsa, Fatehabad, Hisar, Jind, Rohtak, Jhajjar, Narnaul, Faridabad, Palwal, Mewat, Gurugram, Rewari, Bhiwani, Charkhi Dadri, Panipat, Sonipat and Kaithal.

Subsidy available under Haryana Cotton Subsidy Scheme 2025
- First of all, get yourself registered on the ‘Meri Fasal Mera Byora’ portal.
- After registration, fill in the complete details of your cotton crop on the Agriculture Department’s portal.
- 50% or maximum ₹2000 per acre (whichever is less) subsidy will be given for micronutrients and integrated pest management (IPM).
- A farmer will get the benefit of subsidy only for a maximum of 2 acres.
Eligibility for Haryana Cotton Anudan Yojana

- To apply, it is mandatory to be a native of Haryana.
- If you are a citizen then you can apply for it.
- If you fall below the poverty line, then you can apply for it.

Farmers from which districts can apply?
This scheme is only for farmers from cotton producing districts of Haryana:
- Sirsa, Fatehabad, Hisar, Jind, Rohtak, Jhajjar, Narnaul, Faridabad, Palwal, Mewat, Gurgaon, Rewari, Bhiwani, Charkhi Dadri, Panipat, Sonipat and Kaithal.
- If you are not from these districts, you are not eligible for this scheme.
Main rules of Haryana Cotton Anudan Yojana
- Registration of the farmer on the ‘Meri Fasal Mera Byora’ portal is mandatory.
- After registration, the farmer has to enter the complete details of his cotton crop on the departmental portal.
- Subsidy amount – 50% or maximum ₹2000 per acre (whichever is less).
- Maximum benefit – Up to 2 acres.
- The essential agricultural material must be purchased from government/semi-government/cooperative society or authorized dealer only as per the recommendation of Chaudhary Charan Singh, Haryana Agricultural University, Hisar.
- Purchase bills have to be uploaded on the portal.
- After verification of the farm and bill, the subsidy amount will be sent directly to the bank account.
